What is the name of your state? California
Ladynred I need your knowledge. I am being harrased by CA/Atty office, Eskanos & Adler. They called my elderly parents and demanded money to pay my debit with them or they threatened to sue me. My parents got worried and called me not knowing whose these people are, they call my work daily to ask the same questions, the address so that they can send legal documents to me, to know if I work there full time or part time, how many hours I work, if I am working that day, and to speak to me. I filed a complaint against them for calling my parents. I sent them a fax this morning telling them to cease and desist calling my place of employment. After receiving the Fax they called at least 4-5 times to speak to my boss, but they won't leave a name or number, but I have spoken to the collection agent for the past month at least 2-3 times a day that I recogize her voice. Or they call and hang up when they hear my voice, we have caller ID so I know it's them. Is my boss obligated to speak to them? I have already verified that I work there since they call me there and I faxed them a letter telling them not to call my work place anymore. Someone suggested that my office tell them I no longer work there but I don't feel right telling them such a lie, I think it will just make things worse. What are your thoughts on this problem. Thanks.
