What is the name of your state? FLorida, but land is in Nevada

I accidentally bought land on an EBAY auction. I do not want the land, but it seems I have entered into a legally binding contract.

Am I really legally bound to purchase this land? DO I have a few days to pull out of this without consequence?

Please advise

Depends on what the contract you entered into says. How did you accidentally buy land?

REPLY:Land bought on EBAY..by mistake!!!!

I WAS GOING TO BUY THE LAND FOR $501.00 . tHIS WAS MY HIGHEST BID AND i WON. What I didn't realize that this bid was for a downpayment on a piece of land costing $19,999!!!!!!

The only thing I can find out is that I have entered into a legally binding contract. But don't buyers have the right to change their mind if they did not put down a down payment yet?

REAL ESTATE is non-binding on EBAY

Thank you all for your input.

I just read EBAY policies. Real Estate is the only thing were it is non-binding. I AM OFF THE HOOK

FYI

Would you really want to buy vacant land that you haven't seen? It could be swamp land, or next to a dump, or right beside the railroad tracks, or with those big electric towers going right over head. Even if you only spent $500, that doesn't necessarily make it a good deal.

I once saw a guy buy property at the sheriff's sale for back taxes (around $4000, if I remember right). He was sitting right next to me and extremely happy he had won the bid. I couldn't help myself, so I asked him if he thought it was a good deal (knowing it wasn't). He said it was a house and he was very excited. I didn't have the heart to tell him he bought an empty, tiny parcel next to a house - the parcel was even too small to build on. So he paid $4000 for nothing - except a place to put a park bench.

Know what you're buying, people!

**A: should I list my swamp land in Florida on ebay?
