Land Patent in California

I am a Riverside County resident, and have secured a Land Patent.
It is filed with the county Recorder.

Is there anyone available that can discuss Land Patents in Southern California?
(A VERY conservative area of Southern California, btw)

It has been suggested that I register this with the Sherriff's/Marshalls office within my county,
as a means to protect myself against illegal attempts to seize my patented land.

My HELOC has been bundled to a hard lender from a banking institution.

Said lender falls under different banking laws than the federal government (they took no bailout money).

In order to protect against a possible foreclosure sale, should I register my land patent with the Sherriff's/Marshall's offices, so that it will be in their records, in order to preempt an attempt at unlawful seizure by the lender?

-OR-

Should I wait until said lender attempts to take action, and call the Federal Clerk of Court for my district? If so, where can I find out how to get a hold of them?
