Hi,
I am from texas. I had been on a vacation away from home recently to find my house in shambles. All my stuff was thrown higgeldy-piggeldy into the bathroom with out any discrimination and the room painted.
The landlord says he gave notice but he didnt. He gave notice to my roommate a day before she was leaving and when she could not do anything about it. I want out.I have already lost a suitcase from my property and know that my room mate is not responsible for this.he land lord (aactually manager ) says he can waive the fees for breaking the lease but not the rent till may or that I should find some one to move in in my stead. Is he justified since I want to move out because of his actions?

did you take any pictures of the mess???

that would be great to show a judge..or who is his boss?

If he is only a peon manager then who is the landlord contact him and complain and show the pictures...maybe he will fire the jerk manager.
