A FRIEND OF MINE IN TENNESSE HAS LIVED ON ABOUT 3 ACRES OF LAND WITH A HOUSE FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND WAS NEVER CHARGED A PENNY FOR RENT. SHE TOOK CARE OF THE OWNERS MOTHER FOR THE LAST EIGHT YEARS OF HIS MOTHERS LIFE. PLUS THE OWNERS MOTHER LIVED WITH MY FRIEND THE EIGHT YEARS. THE OWNER PAST AWAY WITHOUT A WILL AND ALL HIS RELATIVES ARE DISTANT RELATIVES. THE MAN WAS WORTH 5 MILLION DOLLARS. MY FRIEND IS AN ELDERLY LADY. THE OWNER HAD A WILL MADE OUT A FEW DAYS BEFORE HE DIED THAT LEFT THIS PROPERTY TO MY FRIENDS OLDEST SON BUT HE NEVER GOT TO SIGN IT. DOES MY FRIEND HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO THE LAND AND HOUSE WHERE SHE HAS LIVED ALL THIS TIME. THANK YOU.

NO she has no legal right to it, BUT she MUST hire an estate lawyer to protect her rights from the LL family fighting over the $5 million.....

The best deal she can get would be to live there for the rest of her life rent free, maybe some money, but then again if the family wants to..... or MUST sell the property because of estate taxes, she will have to vacate!

SO She really needs a lawyer, and 30 years not paying any rent, she has absolutely NO excuse not to be able to afford a lawyer.

To bad she and the owner mother were not lesbians, she would be entilted to a lot of money!
