State of Pennsylvania - When I draw up a lease can I add a clause that states: The Tenant cannot have a certain named family come within a 100 feet the this rental house. Cannot come in or on the property. If this legal. It would only be one specific named family.

Interesting concept.......

ARe there are any criminal complaints or charges between you and them? Wouldnt a restraining order be better?

Then put it in the lease if this person violates the restraining order the lease is terminated?

Hogwash again, dj.

The tenant is entitled to quiet possession of the property, and that doesn't mean against noise. The landlord cannot tell the tenant who to invite to his home.

Don't you know that this is America, and in case the NY schools don't teach the Constitution, go look up the Right of Association.

As for your idea of a restraining order, what makes you think that the landlord could get an order forbidding someone from coming near property he owns but doesn't live in? If you know anything about what a restraining order is, and what it is to be used for, how would this fit?

The answer to Irene Valenti is NO, the landlord cannot put something like that in the lease.
