Recently we have secured a stay from evection because of bankruptcy and have promised to be out by the end of our lease (in 30 days). However our landlord continues to devise ploys, the latest hiring an exterminator, informing us 3 days prior and requiring us to vacate the premises for 8 + hours on a Saturday. As far as we know there is no need for this service. The landlord's lawyer gave us 2 cease and desist notices. 1. 30 days for violation of Access by landlord to premises paragraph (pls note we allowed access for inpspection). 2. 3-day notice for violating health and safety of the occupants. This all happened the day after the stay. We in reply sent the landlord and atty a letter stating we had prior commentments on saturday and were sorry for the inconveince prior to the Cease and Desist. We live in NJ.

Lease:
ACCESS BY LANDLORD TP PREMISES. Subject to the tenants consent (which shall not be unreasonable withheld), Landlord shall the right to enter the premises to make inspections, provide necessary services, etc etc.

What are my options, I do not want to let them in.

Why do you have such concerns about the landlord's entry?

After all, you are the ones that have filed bankruptcy and have stopped paying and are preventing him from getting either his money or his property back.
