What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pa.--------LONG STORY-SHORT... Lease renewal states a total rent payment due----Listed itemized charges...pet fee listed as 0.00...paid 40.00 last two years/2 dogs...they messed up on the charges...lease is signed by both parties...Can they charge me 40.00 more than amount listed on lease renewal? Their mistake!

Actually , if this is an auto lease renewal , it's just a technical mistake and you owe.

If the lease is a totally new lease , technically once it's signed ,it's binding .

However you have Pd. for 2 yrs. the pet fee ,it should be of no surprise .

Pay it ,or you may find your on the bad side of the LL/management .
