I am a single Mom and moved into a condo in September. I signed a 1 year lease and gave first, last, and security. I went through a realtor and she informed me that the condo is for sale but in the event of a buyer, they would move me into another unit in my complex or another property equal to what I am in now. However, she called me last week and set up several appointments to show my apartment and after informed me that there were several potential buyers and that I may have as little as 30 days to move. I asked her where she was moving us and she said that she had nothing available and that I would have to find something on my own. I cannot afford to move again so soon, I used almost all of my savings to move here and being a single Mom, I have not been able to build any savings. As a matter of fact, I work 2 jobs and am babrely making it. My rent has been on time every month. Can they make me move without helping me into another place. don't they have to uphold to their end of the lease? Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,
Michelle

If the property is sold, the new owner must honor your lease. That Realtor is an idiot.

I was just in your area when I went to Fort Meyers.
