What is the name of your state?Ky Gas and water was in his name and today at 3pm had it shut off, which was not a problem, but when i called 2 get turned on in my name they said he told them not to turn back on that he was the owner and did not want it back on. I have not gotten a legal court eviction as of yet, only a written 30 day notice 1-15-05 is this legal for him to refuse heat and water and hasen't legally evicted me?

If you can't afford a lawyer on your own go to google and search for "legal aid kentucky". The first few that come up should be what you need. Just click on the one for your area and get the contact information from there.

If you call make sure you have your lease, any written information from your landlord, and anything else you think may be important to the case. It also helps to know exactly what you want to say before you call. Chances are they will be very busy and won't have a lot of time to talk on the phone.

I know a lot of Ohio attorneys who, for some strange reason, really like these kind of cases. There should be at least a few like that in Kentucky too.
