told landlord in tn i would have to pay 5 days late on 10th. tried pay late fee then(1st of mo) refused as part pay. could only pay rent on 10th asked to pay fee next wk. refused as part pay explaind then have to pay on 17th. on 17th try to pay entire amount refused as part pay, legal fees & court cost now due of 341.00. said i would contest additional fee in court but would pay rent & late pay now. refused again as part pay without legal fees i was then served by co. eviction notice with 11days to court. only 2 mos left on lease have submitted letter of intent to vacate at end of lease. mang hand deliver'd letter on 20th of same mo. stating intent to put family of 4 on the street with belongings on 23rd of same mo. this didn't happen. court date now 9/4/01want to fight legal fee & eviction. does 66-7-109 apply? 66-28-504?66-28-511? unfair debt practices 807 [15 usc 1962e] (5)? 808 (1) & (6)a? prove retalitory evict? only paid late 1 x prev lease & 1 x prev lease. made numerous complaints about saftey & upkeep of building & appliances with no response. mang knew of intent to pay never acted in good faith. never given letter of intent to evict.

pay what?

the landlord does NOT have to accept partial payment...

so you will be getting an eviction notice anyday now and you will have to explain it to a judge
