We have a one year residential lease with five months remaining. Landlord wants to put our telephone # on sign (to set up time to look thru house), lockbox on door for realtors so they may sell the house. There is nothing in the lease regarding anything about showing the house to future owners/tenants. What are my options?

Check your state laws. In most states, landlords have that right. It makes good sense because it fills a genuine need.

Usually, the landlord doesn't have a right to give your telephone # and to require you to actively participate in the showing, but you should consider this to be a good sign.

This tenant is unhappy about not having appointments.

Just remember you have a legal right to stay untill your lease ends...if they want you out sooner, they will have to pay you to move!
