What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I had a lease on a house (im the renter), it had no timeline, nor duration of Lease written, but verbally, we agreed along with the Landlord to 1 yr. However, the Landlord would not fix any appliance stating they were all "luxury items" we could do w/out (i.e. dishwasher, icemaker, pool). We gave the Landlord 6 weeks notice that we would be moving. She stated she would not give us our 500 deposit back because we were in breach of our 1yr verbal agreement. At that point we paid her half a month rent and moved out on the scheduled date, the house was left decent condition except the normal wear and tear, she was upset I had the utilities turned off which in her opinion caused flies in the kitchen. She has said she will not give our deposit back and if we dont give her at least 250 of the 350 we owe her she will call my boss, send pics of the house to my boss, call my husbands boss and make our life exteremly uncomfortable. Any advice?

BTW, regardless of whether you are the landlord or the tenant, I offer this for what it's worth:

Speaking as an employer, if I received a phone call such as you describe about one of my employees, I'd most likely hang up on the caller. I would certainly ignore it. What goes on between a landlord and his tenant is none of my business, even if the tenant is employed by me.
