My boyfriend had gotten two eviction for lease violations. The first eviction summons was never received, so the landlord had to file again. The landlord refused to take October and November full months rent due to the eviction. Can the landlord send him a bill to collect for October and November months that she refused money for?

The boyfriend was not evicted, because he stroke a deal with the landlords lawyer to be out by November 13. The lease started January and was to end december 30. The lawyer eve told them that she was not filing for money. My understanding is that the landlord would have to file with the clerks office to arrange money issues.

He owes the landlord the money. The landlord can file suit in Small Claims court and get a judgment against him.
