blueprint I live in New Mexico and I returned from vacation to find my landlord and her two year old son camping in my living room. Can she do this? There is also a shop that is included in our rental and she filled it with her sisters belongings-we can not use it because it is so full. Can I do anything about this? I have a rental agreement but not a lease.

How long is the rental agreement? Month to month, well give your notice to move.

If the shop is included in the lease then the landlord has violated the lease, and you should withold the rent untill they cure the problem.

and landlord cannot enter unless its an emergency, or with 24 hour notice....

so was it raining or thundering or snowing, then the landlord would have an excuse to enter, when you are not there.

Her and her boyfriend had a fight..

It wasnt raining or any of the above. Her and her boyfriend had a fight so she just decided she would sleep on my floor. I plan to move but it will take a while. Do I need to give her written notice to clear out the shop or I will with hold all rent? Thanks for your reply.
