We are moving to a house and my new landlord will have an office in the back. He agreed he would only be using this office 2 times per month and would tell us what two days he would be there. Now that we have started the lease process, he has changed our agreement. He feels that he can come over when he wants too, whether it be evenings, weekends or days. We feel he should respect our privacy. He finally agreed to telling us what two days he would be there during the month, but he also wants it put in the lease that he would call us one day in advance if the occasion should arise that he would have to come over other than the two scheduled days. Our privacy is being violated. Do we have rights in this matter? Are there laws regarding this issue?
