I live in Texas and my husband abandoned me and left no forwarding address, nor has he contacted me and stated he doesn't ever want a divorce, but we own 3 1/2 acres together and the land deed is in both of our names. Can I legally have his name removed since he deserted me and told me that I could have this land? If I can have his name removed, how do I get this done?
Any help/advice on this is greatly appreciated.
