What is the name of your state? California

Yesterday I received a bill to pay for a service performed on July 11, 2006!
I then checked with the firm I received the service , and found they haven't billed me for services dated November 21, 2006; February 6, 2007; April 9, 2007.
I can accept receiving a billing 'within a reasonable time', but, I think receiving a billing close to a year later should be challanged.
I am not familiar with the law on this, but I would like to hear from someone with knowledge of it.

In your other thread you stated:

By the way....I never call anyone and ask them when they are going to send me a bill. That's up to them....Not me.
But it's not up to them. They're not obligated to send you an invoice at all. When you agree to accept their service in exchange for payment, you are responsible for remitting that payment whether they invoice you or not. Of course, eventually an SOL would kick in, but you're nowhere near that yet.

And the whole point of a salary is that you make the same amount of money regardless of how many hours you work. You can't compare that to an hourly wage because not being an hourly wage is the whole point of it being a salary in the first place. By the same token, she makes the same whether she comes in late or leaves early, too.
