What is the name of your state? California

Yesterday I received a bill to pay for a service performed on July 11, 2006!
I then checked with the firm I received the service , and found they haven't billed me for services dated November 21, 2006; February 6, 2007; April 9, 2007.
I can accept receiving a billing 'within a reasonable time', but, I think receiving a billing close to a year later should be challanged.
I am not familiar with the law on this, but I would like to hear from someone with knowledge of it.What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

Their billing practices are not the best but legally you owe the money. The one year period is well within any statute of limations.

If you agreed to pay for the service, and the service was performed on July 11, 2006, and you have not paid for the service performed on July 11, 2006, pay the invoice. Their billing department may not quite be up to par, but your accounting isn't all that stellar either if you never noticed you didn't get billed for July of 2006.

And by the way, I'm not meaning to poke a stick at you or anything, but in your other thread you're wrong about your grandaughter's pay being reduced because she has to work more hours. I'd have said so there, but it's locked.

late billing

I knew I had to pay the bill. I was wondering if there is a law that stipulates sending out billing within a reasonable time. By the way....I never call anyone and ask them when they are going to send me a bill. That's up to them....Not me.
In my other subject....I said that by working more hours, her hourly pay will be reduced. I know she will receive the yearly amount of pay, no matter how many hours she works in a month/year.
