What is the name of your state? MI

I have three different student loans. Last summer I was unemployed from my job. I sented a copy of my unemployment letter to all three of my student loan. Soon after I was unemployed, I moved to another state to find work. During that time one of the student loan companys continued to bill me . I didn't realize this was happening for 3 months. I ended up re-sending the unemployment letter and they finally gave me deferement and they also back dated the deferement for those 3 months they said I missed. My problem is, that now I have a 120 day late on my credit report. I contacted the credit bureaus and they told me even though the deferement was back dated I was still late. Is there anything I can do or say to get lates off my credit report?

*** If the report is in error, the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) gives you the right to have it corrected. However, if the report is in fact accurate (as it sounds from your post), then they have no obligation to change it.

**A: it appears that the 3 loans were a waste of money since there are no such word as sented except like in a sented candle and deferement like in the new reality show Deferement Factor.
