What is the name of your state?Connecticut

I was accused by a local town cop, I believe he was a town cop, of placing "disturbing" "unnerving" witchcraft materials which according to him consists of cat nip and pictures, in front of someone's house. He said there were two witnesses which happen to be the accusers, that saw me drop these items in front of their house. One of the accusers is a minor and has a serious jealous streak, not to mention some mental illness she inhierted from her mother. The cop told me if "it" happens again, I assumed he was referring to the cat nip and pictures, It will be considered harassment so I presume I will be arrested at that point.

There was no crime committed, and no evidence pointing to me as the guilty person. Just suspension, hersay, and general biased racist discriminatory allegations.

What can I do besides take the accusers to small claims court? What can I sue for? Harassment, False accusations, something to that effect. As far as this police department what can I do?
The cop said this was confidential and it has been documented. So I asked if it is on public record at all. He said no.
Am I in the right section of law?

What else floats?

Being a peace officer, not in your particular state though, I was under the impression we had pretty much rid ourselves of those knuckle dragging neanderthals in the profession. Please tell me he wasn't a young guy. Anyway, sans knowing anything else to do with your incident, it would seem to me that you could use this type of experience to educate not only your slightly less than full capacity accuser and the officer about your chosen religious beliefs.

The Salem witch trials were a result of ignorance and fear borne of that ignorance. Someone saw another person doing something they saw as "strange" or out of the ordinary and didn't know how that action or activity fit into the other persons life. They just knew it was something they were unfamiliar with and as such, caused them to be fearful. That quickly snowballed into the burnings and the dunkings and other assorted not to pleasant tests. You know the rest.

If a report had been made it should be public record. There are no confidentiality issues that would seem to be involved. This wasn't a sex crime or a crime against a child if there was even a crime at all. I woud bet the officer was blowing smoke up your skirt, so to speak. If you are still troubled by what occurred, I'd suggest going to the police dept. during regular business hours and ask to speak with a supervisor, preferrably not the involved officers supervisor, and tell him of your concerns about how the whole thing was handled. You don't seem to be looking to make a misconduct allegation against the officer but we are only human and have the ability to make mistakes. Mistakes can be corrected if they are brought to someones attention. Hope this helps. Good luck.
