My daughter went to court yesterday, Her ex- was told to sell 3 vehicles, in the Judgment for divorce only 2 were listed. She brought it to the judges attention, his lawyer lied and said it was in there, rather then to check the judge took his word for it and ordered the Judgment which only showed 2 vehicles. Is there anything that can be done.

In addition, she fired her lawyer on September 14th, somehow he was still able to get up in court and tell the judge that everything was okay. How can that happen, it wasn't okay. And that is why she fired him. Also, he never has given her a bill, and now the judgment reflects he has a judgment for his attorney fees without disclosing an amount. How can that be legal????

I think because she had an extra marital affair that resulted in twins, the judge has a formed opinion of my daughter. He has awarded him physical custody (saying because he is more financially sound) and they share legal custody. She told the judge that he still had not got their son glasses, (needed them since school began) also that he told the school not to give her any info and not to let her have anything to do with them - she had to provide them with all kinds of documents, now they are being anything but cooperative. When she told the judge, he merely looked at him and said why would you do that, her ex said I just told them I have custody. The judge sternly looked at her and said in a rough voice "Did you get it fixed" She replied yes, the judge said " then what is the problem"

Is she just doomed in this screwed up justice system.

Your daughter can get a consult with an attorney to see if filing an appeal is an option. She should do this within the next few days because there's a time limit for filing an appeal.
