What is the name of your state? TX
Lawyer for person suing me, made false accusations when filing documents with local court clerk. Stated I knowingly gave an incompetent driver a vehicle which they then used to injure another party. Wrong. I didn't give it to them.He could have easily checked the facts first. Is he liable for slander? Can I sue him, or at least have him reprimanded?

*** Yes. After all, anyone can sue almost anyone else over almost anything. However, you have no chance of winning since his claims made against you are (presumably) what he feels the evidence will show is true in court.
