A local banker gave my uncle a printout of my father's Checking account 6 days after my father died by suicide. Long story but my uncle falls under the sibling who is bitter category. This has caused me so much pain and heartache as well as a lot of money... again, long story. I didn't even have my executor title at that time myself. I want to sue the bank and I know I have proof and witnesses

1) US law only (what is the name of your US state?)
2) What monetary damages did the bank cause you?

Is there possibly a justifiable reason why the bank would have given your uncle a printout of the bank statement? Maybe uncle was listed on the account as a joint co-owner.

You need to be careful about the actual facts of this case because suing the bank may not be the proper course of action if they did nothing wrong.

You have not mentioned any specific details about your case--it doesn't need to be long but just summarize it in perhaps one or two paragraphs. How much money is gone? Who do you allege took the money?

Has the decedent's will be filed in probate court? Have you been named by the court to be the official executor?
