We are on a month to month lease with the landlord that we have our office leased with. We have a leak in our back office that has gotten our personal items wet more than once. We have told the landlord about it several times, but they have done nothing about it. With no lease do we have any grounds to sue for damages? What can we do about this? Any information would help.
The landlord this morning told me that if we couldn't deal with the leak that we should just move. They don't seem to be willing to do anything about it, since they are selling the building.
