I am on H1B visa and got married 10 months back. I am
thinking of getting a divorce as my wife is a liar,
lazy, uncaring, unreasonable and un-understanding and
it is obvious to me now that she married me for coming
to the US. She is on H4 visa and will contest the divorce
as her sole intention is to stay back in US - by hook or crook.
Can someone educate me on the process, money and risks
involved if I file for divorce.

One more example of what all people will do to fulfill their desire of coming to US; some don't even spare the sanctimonious relationship of marriage - not realizing the pain and agony they cause to others...

I just wish that I may not be tortured, abused, harassed and cheated anymore, and be left in peace. Lucky are those people who have loving and understanding spouses.

Appreciate your suggestions and recommendations.

Thanks

What you do is retain a Family Law Attorney. We generally only answer specific questions on here and can not educate you on the whole process.
Good luck.
