i live in nc..i leased a vehicle in 1998(workin at the time) i had to come out a few months later due to health problems.I got a few weeks behind in payment and called to set something up with the company they said without a job i could not lease the car. they came and took the car and called it voluntary reposesion. they sold the car for 6,000 less than the payoff... they are tryin to get me to pay them for this balance. what are my rights and what extent can they go to to collect their money. they call every week and i am getting very tired and nervous,i am in a wheel chair and am unable to work. if i had the money i might would pay but they have threatened me and my husband til he is really
tired of it.
thank
