Lease Breach

I'm in Missouri, Plaintiff is in Kentucky

I moved from Kentucky to Missouri and left an unpaid lease behind. I made arrangements for payment of that lease but have been economically unable to meet these arrangements. I have recieved a civil summons demanding relief of 3902.00 plus 12% annum or a defense filed with the clerk within 20 days.

What can I do?
