hello,we just got a verbal notice
that we have to move ,reasons are
because of problems they are
haveing and they need to sale the
house,my ? is I already new that they
might sale the house but we agreed
that we didn't have to move until
the house was sold,okay we are in
our second month of renting,we've
been waiting for a house to rent
out in the country for a long time
and as soon as we move in we have
to move out,it doesn't seem fair
so could you please tell me my
rights to being a tenant? we
signed a lease and there isn't any
date on it stateing how long
thelease is for,In three weeks my
2 other children are comeing for
the summer and this is my only
time with my children,so please
give me some advice on what to
do,I live in pa. thank-you and god

Your rights are pretty much covered by your lease agreement. Also, your landlord was probably required by state law to give you written notice of your need to vacate the property. Generally speaking, when dealing with real estate, things have to be in writing and signed by the parties in order to be enforced in a court of law. So practically speaking, your verbal agreement with the landlord to stay in the property until the property is sold is not binding. Rather, what controls is your lease agreement.
