My daughter signed a 6-month lease with another girl. Daughter left after 4 months. Remaining 2 months rent was paid (I verified with apt. manager) Now the lease is up and the roommate has not moved out. She was served with a 3 day notice and is being referred to attorney. I'm told my daughter is responsible for one month's rent and eviction/attorney fees. Is there any way out of this besides paying the fees and trying to get it back in small claims court?
