I signed a 12-month lease on August 10, 2000. I have recently decided to move and was informed that my lease was up on August 31, 2001. I spoke with the manager and she said this was a legal technicality. I was wondering if I have a legal technicality as well, or am I just screwed because I signed the lease?

Well what does YOUR COPY SAY!......

And when do you pay the rent on the 1st or the 10th?

If its on the 1st did they pro rate the first month?

my copy says what theirs says...August 31, 2001, but that's more than 12 months. I also prorated starting August 10, 2000.
