how can a landlord hold a tenate liable for rent if he or she is being transfered. what is the law in maryland on this issue? do the tenates have any rights on this subject?

2) read your Maryland L/T laws that could be found by using the State Resources link on this website.

3) the tenants do have rights. For tenants rights see # 1 and 2 above.
