My husband and his family started an LLC. There have been many family problems and he left the company - not on good terms. There were never any papers signed saying he was leaving. Now, his family wants him to sign off on the company. He has just found out that the family is selling the company, and trying to do so behind his back. What we are wanting to find out is, should he sign the papers or should he fight to get a portion of the sale? If so, how does he go about doing so? Thank you.

Mr. Mevorach,
I am in the state of Alabama, and the LLC was created here in this state. If you need any more info to put me in the right direction of solving this problem, please let me know. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hard to advise. Money at stake? Liability issues? Can you consult with local counsel?
