If I were to leave our home and take only some clothes and enough money to live and hire an attorney, will I still have rights to obtaining the rest of my personal belongings and items purchased during the marriage or will I forfeit everything by leaving. Can he sell or give away items I owned prior to the marriage because I won't be there to stop him. I'm trying to decide whether it's in my best interest to leave the house or try to have him removed with a court order. I live in Colorado and there's alot of money and assets involved in a divorce.
