What is the name of your state?
Michigan
Does anyone know if the custodial parent can legally leave the state (Michigan) with the child without the other parents permission? If so, can it be stipulated in the custodial agreement that the parent cannot leave the state?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

You need to check more on this matter about the time period that the child is removed from the state and what the reason for the removal is. Reason why I say this is because we are on the state line so we travel out of our state almost daily. The arrangement in our divorce decree is that if the children are taken out of the state that the other parent be given contact numbers and an agenda while out of state. As far as the other parent leaving the state they can travel as they please but the problem is when they think they can do so freely with children.
