Will you be found guilty? Yes, you've admitted it. I probably would retain an attorney. With all due respect, I believe you also need some counseling. ANYONE who would live a child in a car has some severe "issues" to deal with. I don't mean to preach but....I wouldn't even leave my dog in a car much less a child!!! Whatever it costs it pales in comparison to the potential costs of what could have happened.

My response:

Mary Ray's response is absolutely wonderful !

Sometimes, I wish "Crucifixion" was in vogue.

Noticed you deleted your post when you asked the same question last week. Did my answer scare you? I shall remind you again. The headless body of a 3 year old girl was found recently in Kansas City, Missouri. It has been confirmed that it is the body of a girl who was kidnapped in September of 1999 when she was 21 months old from a bowling alley in Tacoma, Washington. The little girl was out of sight for just a minute when her mother started looking for her. Within 5 minutes, the bowling alley was locked down but the girl could not be found. And as I stated before, you were lucky the kidnapper was not around when you were caught. In my state, leaving a child in a car alone is a class 3 felony which means an automatic trip to jail and you will be investigated by Child Protective Services. I guess Michigan doesn't take it self as serious in this matter.
