I just settled a wrongful termination/ADA suit but I realized there still might be more. While the release bars me from bringing up the original charge, I don't think it can stop me from suing defamation.
For the past several months prior to the settlement I have had to explain to potential employers why I no longer worked where I worked when asked, because I had no idea what my former bosses would say if called.
Also in my performance report they wrote that my depression made me unproductive, even though I have evidence (dated design pieces) that this is untrue.
Is there a case to be had?

Depending on the amount of your award yes, there is a case to be had.

If the award was very generous, a case of Penfolds Grange 1979 .

If the award was moderately generious, a case of Puligny-Montrachet, Les Combettes, Dom. Leflaive - 1992.

If the award was only generous, a case of E. Guigals Cotes du Rhone 1972.

If the award was not so generous, a case of Chateauneuf du Pape Chateau de Beaucastel 1998

And if the award was a swift kick in the pants and a farewell, a case of Thunderbird.

Q: Is there a case to be had?

A: No, you should've brought all your complaints up in the first lawsuit.

I'm seeing a difference of opinion here. Why does the settlement amount matter? Where does $7,500 fit in that scale? (not real number, bit higher. That's to foil text-scanning lawyers. Good luck them proving who this is anyway.)

Christ am I stupid....but hey I don't drink so how would I know? :p
So the answer is no why? Because the first one was settled or because its just not a case itself?
