What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I am actually from Ontario, Canada this might not apply but any advice would help.

I am a university student only 2 courses away from graduating. At my university, we follow an online navigator, that tells us exactly what courses to take and all the requirements necessary to obtain a degree. I was recently informed by the university that i have an additional 4 courses to take because my online navigator was misleading and flawed, hence i do not meet all the requirements to graduate. However i was unaware of this due to the fact i was told to follow my online navigator which i did. Now the university has asked me to do those additional 4 courses and will not pay for them nor refund the 4 courses, which i took prior and do not count for anything, hence wasted my time and money.

What can i do? any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
