I am tring to draft my first complaint and answer for a ficticious case for a negligence class. I am having trouble with the introduction before i list the first count. This is for a claim over 15,000 dollars. Is there any seet language I should use? I have my paragraphs under the first count...I am just struggling with the introduction and ending or "prayer to court" I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

My response:

An "introduction" for a negligence complaint?

Are you talking about the allegations to identify the various parties and their capacities? The DOE allegations? The venue allegations? The agency allegations?

What is it that you are trying to say to the court with an "introduction"?

For which State are you writing this project?

My further response:

Gee, I guess this matter wasn't as important to you as you made it out to be; or, you would have come back and answered my questions.
