Hi,

I own a small business. I went for sales pitch for a program to 'double my business'. It was to be a program to coach us to better business managing ect.. ect..

I didnt recieve conference calls when i was supose to (after i made a point to leave a job to be at my office on time) and was treated very rude to by the clerk who took my phine call to them.

I stated that i was scepticle about there service and wanted to think about it longer before i spent any money with them and they no longer had permission to charge my credit card for there services (witch i havent used yet).

She replied gain in a rude way YES WE DO WE HAVE A CONTRACT! And ofcourse the boss was 'not availible'. So I called my bank and blocked any withdrawalls. They do have a contract but i have not recieved any services yet either. Im wondering if anyone can help me and give advice? Basicly i want out of the deal, I feel I'm being scamed and dont want any 'business advice' from someone who will let an employee treat me there customer that way.

Thanks for any reply :)

i don't have an answer to your problem, but it appears there are similarities between our two situations. was your credit card charged at all by the company? how was the (signed?) contract agreed upon? (telephone, then mail or face-to-face) what is the effective date of the contract? are there any cancellation provisions in the contract? these factors may be necessary to make a decision on how to proceed. best of luck.
