Legal Drop Out Age

What is the name of your state? Washington State

We have a 15 yr old who is going to turn 16 soon and believes he knows everything and the one thing he knows is that he can drop out of school. Does anyone know what the legal age to drop out of school is in Washinton State? We know it is not a good idea and are trying everything to keep him in so a legal document or something to printout would be very helpful.

I don;t know at what age compulsory school attendance stops but it is truly irrelevant if you as the parent do not allow him to drop out of school. It isn't his choice. You can make attandence compul;sory until he is no longer under your control.
