I need help fast! we had a written lease for one year. Our landlord moved out of state. Our lease was up for renewal and over the phone she made an oral agreement that we could stay in the house for 4 years and she would not raise the rent.
Last week we got an eviction notice stating that she wants her children to move into the house. Is this legal?
