pennsylvania, bucks county family court, montgomery county lawyers:
My original property settlement agreement allowed my x not only to rack up $64,000 worth of debt against my marital property without reprocussions but also allowed him to neglect to pay me for my share of the property and to leave the mortgage in both of our names after I signed the deed over to him.
5/2/01 i was given the property (he will sign the deed over to me) with the debt but i was also imdemnified from any debt from his business. Now the original property settlement is null and void. I did not want the house I haven't been in it for 6 years and have no idea what shape it is in. I also had no idea of the debt incurred on mortgages on the house since our divorce. Turns out he has a $39,000 debt on a line of credit secured by a 3rd mortgage and a $25,000 debt on a line of credit for his S-corp. Help find me a lawyer who will take this case on contigency! $64K up for grabs and if I'm accepting debt on a home but am indemnified agianst his business than what about the $25K 4th mortgage on the property. Seven years since our divorce and it still isn't over!!!!- HELP!!!

http://www.attorneypages.com or call your state bar association.

Get ALL the paperwork you have together, try to organize a time line with ownership, dates, numbers, as much as possible. This will take less time for the attorney to sort through.
