I just got a devorce from my wife and moved back to CA from AZ. My Ex bought a house when we were still married and my name is not on any of the legal paperwork reguarding he purchase or mortgage (everything involving the house is in her name). I agreed to pay half the house payment because i thought that because we were married when she bought the house I was legally obligated to pay half. My Son tells me that being that I was not on any legal paperwork for the house that I shouldnt be paying for "her house"
that she still resides in. Is my on correct from a legal standpoint?

Did your attorney think it was as ridiculous as your son thinks to agree to such a thing?
