Legal to make Game Cheats?

What is the name of your state? GA

I'd like to provide a service where people could contact us with information about which game and what kind of cheat they would like made for it..ex money,aimbot, wallhack etc...

Is it legal to make these kind of programs?

Here is a general idea of things that might be needed to make a cheat for a game...
*copy files into the games folders...
*freeze memory address so the values don't change...
*rename files in the games folder
*replace files in the games folder with modifed ones


These type of programs can be found for free... www.unknowncheats.com....but are detected by anti-cheating programs which make them useless...


So what could a game company do about me making cheats for a game they made?

Though what you are describing would not be illegal on its surface, a company (which would presumably have MUCH deeper pockets than you have) would certainly be able to cause you significant legal 'grief' if they chose to.
The question you must ask yourself is.... are you willing to take the risk of possible (probable) letters and demands from attorneys??
