I work for an Indian company and have a service agreement with my employer that says I cannot quit my Job in US and have to go back to india and work there for 6 months before I leave, Else It says I have to pay my employer damages they incurred because of me not transitioning my knowledge.

1. Does such agreements signed in India hold good under US Law?

2. Given this situation, If I quit my job should I have to give a notice period?

3. How should I send my resignation? will an e-mail be sufficient (for Legal Proof) or should I send it through an attorney.

Thanks In advance

This is WELL beyond the sphere of what a message board can answer. You will need to show the agreement to a local attorney.
