Ok My husband and I are legally sepearted as of Oct. 10, 2000 by the South Carolina court system. I have a problem with that. The day that my husband went into the office to have the papers drawn up, I had no say in the matter of any thing. The only thing that I had gotten out of 7 years of marriage is my truck and my clothing. I was intimadated into signing the papers, "either you sign them or you will never see "daughter" again." Three days before court he had me take our daughter to his mothers house which is two states away, knowing that I would not be able to make court. I either left the day he told me and he giving me $$ to live off of until i found work, or I would leave then and there with out any money, never seeing my daughter again and a tank on empty. I was manupulated into signing the papers by my husband and was told i would never see my child again if i didn't do as he says. I am wanting to know how long I have until I can contest this court order or can I appeal to have the leagal seperating nul and void? What are my rights as a mother and does my child have any rights as well? She is 7 years old. He sent both of us to live with his mother for 12 months and now he is threating to take her back to South Carolina. When you ask her if she wants to go, she says no, she wants to stay her. Why? Because she is scared of his violent temper and what he may do if she says somthing that he doesn't agree with or something that doesn't want to hear. I need to know if she has any rights, and how may I go about finding out. THis is an urgent matter, as I know everyone els'e is as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this and helping me and my daughter. I couldn't bear the thought of losing this child and I know that once he takes her back, he will fill her precious head with lies and it will destroy this child. Please Help!!!!!
