But it REQUIRES that the husband's name be on the birth certificate. The only way that didn't happen is if the OP told the hospital that she wasn't married. You know...that whole fraud thing.And then, later on down that same statute it says:
...
(4) If the father is not named on the certificate of birth, no other information about the father shall be entered on the certificate
...
Therefore, GA clearly allows for no father to be listed on the BC.
I really can't believe you're arguing this instead of simply admitting that you made a mistake by not checking the applicable law before posting your information.
