a55, and to make a long story short, the car won't pass emissions. so i was just wondering what the actual law is on private party lemon sales, because although i'm only out $1200, that's unacceptable for a car that i cannot even drive legally. by the way, i got a quote of $1200 to fix the thing, and that's just the basic stuff needed to pass. thanks in advance.
