the intial charges took place in illinois which were possession of drugs. the person made bond and while out on bond committed another crime which was first degree armed robbery. the charges in illinois have been going on over 19 months with no conviction yet, but i was wondering how long illinois has to come and pick him up from kentucky before the statue of limitation runs out? an attorney in illinois told me they will wait until kentucky sentences him before they even come and get him. how long do they have? they say he will get 25 years to life in kentucky so i wonder if illinois will even come and get him??? he is a co-defendant in my case so i am curious what they will do with him. thanks in advance for all your help.

lawrat what did you mean... that illinois probably will never even come and get him or what??? how long do they have to come and get him from kentucky, 30days, 60 days or what??? i am just curious because i thought they probably would just let ky do what ever to him. if they did do that would illinois just drop charges or what? thanks again lawrat
